The name ‘Kalvi’, meaning 'Education', derives from the world’s oldest living language, Tamil. A student's education is a powerful tool defining their future.
Our iconic logo depicts the Kalvi tree, symbolising strength and a solid foundation in which we impart our knowledge to our students. The Kalvi Tree branches out to form of a book, symbolising how we inspire our students to blossom and achieve their goals.

Ketheeswaran Ajithan
DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER OF KALVI TUTORS
Ajithan founded Kalvi Tutors in 2021 with the concept of developing a more interactive and enjoyable way of tutoring. He is a Lead Tutor, who specialises in Common Entrance Exams, 11+, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Ajithan has over a decade of teaching experience in a variety of schools, including State, Academy, Faith and SEN Schools. Furthermore, he has over 20 years’ experience in private tuition.
QUALIFICATIONS
PGCE in Teaching
Biomedical Degree
Post graduate in Radiopharmaceutics and PET Radiochemistry.
FUN FACTS
My FAVOURITE Hobby
I love to challenge myself, so I started Archery a few years ago. Although it takes a lot of hard work and precision, regular practice makes it a very rewarding sport.
Favourite Food
I absolutely love Italian cuisine. My kind of comfort is a rustic pizza with garlic bread and side of coleslaw!
FAVOURITE Sport
I enjoy riding my bicycle and also enjoy swimming.
